Joan has always been an artist and her patients are her canvas. After injecting thousands of patients with neurotoxins and fillers, and becoming a leader in injectables, she was asked to be a Certified National Trainer for Allergan. She has trained hundreds of offices across the nation in Botox, Juvederm, and Kybella. She has also mentored many young business owners. Training and mentoring new injectors and business owners is her passion.

Meet Joan
EXPERT INJECTOR & EDUCATOR
Joan started her aesthetic career in 2004. At that time,
she started Total Vein Care and was a leader in
sclerotherapy for legs as well as facial veins. She went on
to become a certified sclerotherapy trainer. From here,
her aesthetic passion began to build when Juvederm
came on to the market in 2007. At this time, she started
injecting neurotoxins and fillers. In 2009, she co-founded
Skincare Aesthetics of Baton Rouge. She remained an
owner for 15yrs.

She took the opportunity to move to Singapore for 2
years, learn aesthetics from a different perspective as
well as new techniques throughout Asia. She has brought
these new techniques and methods back to her clinic.
She returned in 2024 and founded Aesthetics By Design
that specializes in neurotoxins, fillers, custom chemical
peels and medical grade skincare.

She is an expert in facial anatomy and pays particular
attention to how the face ages. As an avid watercolor
artist, she discovered the face could be her new canvas
to build a refreshed, natural looking beautiful face.
